Kitten season is almost here and we need your help!

Friends of Noah is hosting a Kitten Shower on April 20th from 12pm - 3pm at Mounds Pet Food Warehouse - Janesville! We will be outside weather depending.

We are asking for donations* of:

  • kitten formula (wet or powder)

  • wet and dry kitten food

  • adult cat food

  • kitty litter

  • cat toys

  • gift cards

RAFFLE BASKETS & 50/50: Win a raffle basket! Tickets will be available to purchase on the event date OR in the Adoption Center starting April 1st! *For every donation dropped off on the day of the event, you will receive a free raffle ticket(s) for a special gift basket!

Tickets will be priced as follows (cash only please):

1 ticket - $2 • 3 tickets - $5 • 7 tickets - $10 • 15 tickets - $20

We will also have a 50/50 raffle on the day of the event!

BE A FOSTER: To make this a great kitten season, we need more fosters! Kittens don’t take up much space :) So, if you have a little room in your home and some love in your heart - consider fostering! Friends of Noah covers all expenses for our fosters.

Want to help but can’t make it to the event? Items can be dropped off at Mounds during business hours. Or you can shop from our Amazon and/or Chewy* Wish List and have it delivered right to Friends of Noah!

VICTORIAN HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE

The Victorian Holiday House is back!

Open 8 nights!

Take a step back in time when you tour this historic home filled with over 15 theme-decorated Christmas trees (including an upside-down tree!), a magnificent Christmas village, doll houses, a North Pole display (complete with Santa’s Workshop), and many more vintage decorations.

Dates and times are as follows:

  • December 14: 5pm - 8pm

  • December 15: 5pm - 8pm

  • December 16: 5pm - 8pm

  • December 21: 5pm - 8pm

  • December 22: 5pm - 8pm

  • December 23: 5pm - 8pm

Admission is free. Donations appreciated. All proceeds benefit Friends of Noah.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Mike and Tom for once again opening up their beautiful home to the community for this special event! They start decorating in early November and add new items every year! We are so grateful to them for allowing us to share this experience!

Friends of Noah is excited to partner with Mounds Pet Food Warehouse - Janesville for their annual Humane Holidays Pet Food Drive! Donations will benefit the Friends of Noah - CAFE program! Last year, the CAFE program distributed over 21,000 pounds of food through local pet food pantries in the area to help those who need it most.

We are accepting donations of:

  • Mounds Dog Power All Life Stages

  • Purina Dog Food (wet or dry)

  • Dry dog food - any

  • Wet dog food - any

  • Dental dog care - Greenies or other

  • Dog treats - any

  • Bully Sticks

  • Whimzees

  • Pig Ears

  • Mounds Purrfect Cat All Life Stages

  • Dry cat food - any

  • Wet cat food - any

  • Cat treats

  • Cat litter - any

How can you help?

  • Pet food can be dropped off in the container at the front entrance of Mounds - Janesville during business hours.

  • Items can be purchased in-store and left in the container. NOTE: there is a high demand for dry cat food.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Friends of Noah will have an information table at Mounds-Janesville to answer questions, distribute information, and collect donations. 2024 calendars will also be available to purchase. Lincoln-Tallman House Holiday Tree Show

Friends of Noah will once again have a tree at the Lincoln-Tallman House Holiday Tree Show!

Make & take ornaments will once again be available! Please note: The Friends of Noah holiday tree will be inside located on the lower level.

With more than 100 trees and decorations inside the historic mansion, each is uniquely bejeweled by a local business, nonprofit or family.

From a huge “memory tree” adorned with photos of loved ones and spanning two levels of the museum, to a bedroom filled with pink trees, this year’s show is larger and more joyous than ever before! Open-house-style tours are ideal for adults and children alike. Self-guided.

Stop downstairs in the museum’s Speakeasy for a beverage – sip while you stroll through the house! The Speakeasy is open during tour hours. Cash bar.

We are grateful to our friends at the Rock County Historical Society for giving Friends of Noah this opportunity! Enjoy the show!

Santa is coming to Riverside Park* to spread some holiday cheer to all the dogs and cats this holiday season with Lampe Creative Impressions. Please join us for Pet Photos with Santa on Saturday, November 18th, from 1-3 p.m.

Lampe Creative Impressions will also be offering pet holiday items for purchase. Lampe Creative Impressions will be donating 15% of the proceeds to Friends of Noah for the Holidays.

Time slots are limited - sign up below!

Friends of Noah will be accepting pet food donations at the event. As you know, the need in the community has been great this year. At this time, we are running very low on dry cat food, but any dog or cat food items would be greatly appreciated.

*We plan on being at the South Pavilion - the first pavilion as you enter the park on Hamilton/Parkside Dr past the stone arch bridge. The South Pavilion is where Parkside Dr and Edge Hill Dr meet. However, since there are no reservations this time of year we may have to move to the North Pavilion.

A FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT
FRIENDS OF NOAH - WISCONSIN

A fundraiser to benefit Friends of Noah Animal Rescue is being held at Barkleys Brews & Dawgs on October 21st, 2023 during the Wisconsin Badger vs Illinois Fighting Illini football game.

Join us at Barkleys Burgers, Brews & Dawgs on October 21st when the Wisconsin Badgers take on the Illinois Fighting Illini and YOU could score!

We will have raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, and of course, a meat raffle!

Event starts at 2pm. Game time is 2:30. Get there early to get a good seat!

Located on the main level, Friends of Noah will have an information table where guests can learn more about Friends of Noah and the services we provide - as well as learn how they can get involved! Be sure to stop by and see our friends at Pawlicious for all the pet things!

Olde Town Mall is a pet-friendly destination. Adoptables and well-behaved leashed pets are welcome.
