>>A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to Legends Meat Raffle! Whether you donated a basket, came to the event, purchased a 50/50 and/or raffle basket tickets, participated in the meat raffle or helped out that day in some way, shape or form - THANK YOU! With your help, we had a great turnout and raised nearly $2,000!

>> Arftic Art Planning Committee will be meeting on November 20th at 5:30pm - Festival Foods

>>Mounds Adoption Center at Mounds - Janesville on 11/23 from 11am - 1pm

>>Share the Mounds Holiday Pet Food Drive! We are excited that Mounds Pet Food Warehouse - Janesville is partnering with Friends of Noah for the annual Holiday Pet Food Drive! We’ll be accepting donations for the CAFE program at Mounds from Thanksgiving weekend through Christmas Eve!

>>Victorian Holiday Open House will be open to the public on 12/13-12/14 and 12/20-12/23 from 5pm-8pm. This historic home at 103 N Chatham St features over 15 Christmas trees, Santa’s Workshop, doll housees, a Christmas village display and MORE. Admission is FREE with a cash donation to Friends of Noah.

>>Annual Holiday Volunteer Meeting on December 18th! We’ll have treats for those in attendance PLUS everyone who attends earns a ticket to our ‘Gift Card Giveaway’! Earn an extra ticket when you bring in your Arftic Art auction or raffle items!

>>Gift ideas! Need a gift idea for the person who has everything and wants nothing? A donation to Friends of Noah makes a wonderful and meaningful gift!

>>Volunteer opportunities! Consider helping out with one or many of the several volunteer opportunities available!

>>Our 10th year of Arftic Art is around the corner and our planning committee would like YOU to be involved! For more information, please contact Lois Corwin or Dawn Espinosa! Our first meeting will be October 16th, prior to the Volunteer Meeting.

>>Exciting news for our C.A.F.E. program! Mounds Pet Food Warehouse - Janesville wants to work exclusively with Friends of Noah as a partner in their 2019 Annual Holiday Food Drive starting Black Friday! More information to follow soon on how you can help this make a successful pet food drive.

ANIMAL UPDATE

As of July 9th, we have adopted 4 cats/kittens and taken in 8 cats/kittens and 1 dog!

Sammy and Twinkle went together to their purr-ever homes, as did Gabby and Sadie!

We have taken in felines Corbin, Simba, Kip, Gracie, Gunner, Gwen and Grover. Terry was returned to us. We have also taken in Sadie, a 10 year old English Setter.

>>Mark your calendars for the Rock County Rabies Clinic on Saturday, September 21, at the Rock County Fairgrounds/Craig Center from Noon - 3:00 pm. We need many volunteers to make this a successful event. A sign up sheet will be circulated at the August Friends of Noah volunteer meeting. If you would like to volunteer but cannot be at the meeting, please contact Sandy Kraft, kraft383@yahoo.com. 608-751-6249. If you have a specific position you would like to volunteer for, please include that in your email.
