S.A.F.E. Coordinator (Volunteer)
The S.A.F.E. Coordinator supports Friends of Noah-WI's Saving Animals Through Focused Education (SAFE) program by helping educate pet owners and community members about responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and resources that improve the lives of pets and their families. This volunteer plays an important role in promoting education-based solutions that help keep pets safe, healthy, and in loving homes.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate and support S.A.F.E. educational initiatives and outreach efforts.
Research, organize, and distribute educational resources on topics such as pet care, behavior, training, spay/neuter, and responsible pet ownership.
Work with Friends of Noah-WI volunteers, board members, and community partners to identify educational opportunities and needs.
Help develop content for social media, newsletters, events, and community presentations.
Track program activities and maintain records of educational resources and outreach efforts.
Serve as a positive ambassador for Friends of Noah-WI and its mission.
Qualifications:
Passion for animal welfare and education.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable using email, online documents, and basic computer programs.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with volunteers.
Creative thinking and a willingness to help develop new educational initiatives.
Time Commitment: Varies. Anticipated to be approximately 5-10 hours per month, with flexibility based on program needs and volunteer availability.
